You can change the color for the Main Color option, thus changing the background as well.

As to the Math and Chemistry formulas.
At the moment, unfortunately, there is no such functionality available for usage.

Your request is more similar to the Chart plugin.

I just tried the free version of Dictionary plugin of yours and have a question:
Can I import words via XLSX file?

Yes, the plugin gives the opportunity to import words via XLSX File format.
All you need to do is to copy the shortcode of the plugin and click on the Choose File > Import Now buttons on the Front-end.
